CP3D was a free virtual world inspired after Disney's Club Penguin. Made on Unity, it was a 3D remake of the original flash game closed in 2017.

In CP3D, you could chat, dance, customize your penguin and your igloo by buying clothes and furniture, play mini games, become a secret agent or a ninja, and more.
CP3D had +45 000 registered accounts, with weekly updates and monthly events.
The project was launch in October 2018 and closed on January 7th 2023.

3D Modelling

I first joined CP3D as a 3D artist. At that time, the game was lacking in detail and wasn't faithful of the original game
As such, I started to remake all the existing rooms to fit more to the Club Penguin original look by adding textures, animation and so on.

As soon as the player model was updated to the final version of it, I started to make clothings, by making the models, making the texture and rigging them.

As Club Penguin, the game had monthly event, and I was in charge of making some part of them.

Catalog and newspaper

Every months, clothes and furnitures catalogs were updated, so player could create their unique penguin.
I was in charge of planning the clothes/furnitures for the next catalog, rendering the pages, and implementing all the clothes into the game.

Every two weeks, CP3D had an update with a new newspaper, and I was in charge of rendering the pages and implementig the newspaper in game.

Website

I worked on the front end of CP3D's website, to make it more visually appealing and user friendly. Art by Tomastos1.

The Team

CP3D was the work of an incredible team, made of Club Penguin fan from all around the world. The communication between staff members was made fully in English on Discord. With that team and the help of our community, CP3D was noticed by the original creator of Club Penguin and former Club Penguin staff.
CP3D closed on January 31, 2023, after 4 years and 3 months of activity.
